Classification Scheme

Classification Scheme is a classification system or classification of documents determined by the company's authorities, i.e., derives from tasks, business processes or company activities.

It is the basic and most important plan for arranging documentary material. It very precisely defines the documentation hierarchy, the type of documentation and its purpose, the storage period and the method of labeling or document numbering.

HINT

According to the Classification Scheme, for example, the bills of the electricity supplier will be precisely located and we will also find them quickly later. This will determine the arrangement in which storage (logs) in which classifications (folder) inside the storage the document is located.

The classification scheme and editing of individual classifications can be accessed via the menu:

The following is a description of the form and individual elements.

1. Toolbar: The toolbar is located on each form of the PANTHEON program at the top of the program window. The functionality that appears on the Classification Scheme form can be accessed by clicking on the button (Wizards) and selecting the option Move document to storage.

2. Table of classifications: The table on the left side of the form shows the set classification plan of the company. At the top is a field to search for classifications within the classification plan.

3. Basic data: Classifications are entered into the plan by specifying settings in the basic data, i.e., features can be edited here for already entered classifications.

4. On the right side of the form, we have various tabs available for more detailed classification settings.

  • Metadata: The Metadata tab allows you to add arbitrary fields for each classification.
  • Documents: The Documents tab displays existing documents for each created classification.
  • Authorizations: In the Authorizations tab we have access to authorization settings for users or groups for each classification.
  • Info: insert any text for Classification Information or File Information.
